Abstract

Concrete is a construction material known for its high compressive strength, low maintenance costs, and ease of shaping as needed. This material can be used in various types of construction, both heavy and light. With the development of science, especially in the field of polymer concrete construction, it is one example of this development. This study compares the effect of polyurethane as a cement substitute on the compressive strength of concrete with a percentage of 2%, 4%, 6%. The results of this study indicate that the effect of polyurethane as a cement substitute can increase the average compressive strength of concrete, namely 26.10 MPa, 28.00 MPa and 28.72 MPa. Where the compressive strength of normal concrete without polyurethane substitution is 24.72 MPa with a concrete age of 28 days. So that polyurethane can increase the compressive strength of normal concrete plans.
